Hunting Simulator presents 35 species throughout 12 areas, including well-known hunting regions such as the mountains of Colorado, the oak forests of France, and the snowy plains of Alaska. Each environment is populated by superbly modeled animals brought to life with behaviors from a realistic AI. While it's not the best looking FPS on Switch, Hunting Simulator still manages to offer an experience that brings something new to the console's growing library of software. The issues with its tracking system will rankle both veterans and newcomers, but if you can move beyond this roadblock then the bullet mechanics and actual minute-to-minute hunting have plenty to offer. Just remember to pack some sandwiches before you head out, because this is no ‘pick up and play' purchase.

It’s a niche product, Hunting Simulator 2 – it comes with the territory. It’s good at what it does, though; portraying a popular, albeit taboo, pastime. Hours can be spent tracking prey before taking decisive action, and even if you’re not successful in your hunt, the scenery is so picturesque that you don’t really care. Hunting Simulator 2 lets you enjoy the outdoors, indoors. It’s lets you enjoy dog ownership withing having to pick up its poop. Animal murder may be the aim of it, but it’s mostly beautiful otherwise.

For me I would say if you enjoy hunting games it can be a bit of casual fun… but certainly not at full price… a deep discount is require or perhaps give it a…. miss (puts on sunglasses, adopts a smug look and walks off).

Hunting Simulator is a title that will surely be appreciated by hunting enthusiasts, but other players could be bored after a few hours, due to its obvious defects.

Hunting Simulator is an humble game for one kind of gamer, and one only: the hunting enthusiast. For everyone else, this accurate simulation could be an awful experience.

This is a very superflous title that features a long and boring campaign and lacks freedom for objective choosing. Just for the fans of the genre that don't care about technical issues.
