二度目の春雪「異変」の影響により、幻想郷は短い夏を経て秋風を迎えた。毎年恒例の中秋の名月イベント「月都展示会」は予定通り開催されたが、今年はいつもより賑やかなようだった。奇怪な月光を放つ満月が昇ると、幻想郷を覆う巨大な幕が静かに降りていた。誰もが反応する間もなく、幻想郷の夜空は完全に静止し、噂でしか聞いたことのない多くの妖怪が現れた。そして今夜の月都展示会の宴は、近くの妖精たちを次々と引き寄せていた......
