Farlands is one of those games that doesn't set out to reinvent the genre, but rather to offer a relaxed and welcoming experience for those who enjoy slow-paced progression, exploration, and resource management.

Farlands was an entertaining game on the whole. All the characters were charmingly unique, the story was fun to play through and I really enjoyed visiting each planet to experience their nicely designed environments and the challenges they brought with them. I really enjoyed this new spin on a beloved genre and really hope that perhaps they may add more things to do post launch.

While it doesn't reinvent the wheel, this title invests heavily in immersive aspects, to the point of surpassing the usual quality of the Stardew Valley experience.

Eric Rodríguez and Jandusoft deliver a charming, calm simulator full of tasks, where upgrading the ship, discovering planets and rebuilding the farm keeps things engaging. It is not the deepest game in the genre, but its content and price make it easy to recommend.

The visuals are beautiful, and the soundtrack helps create a magical, beautiful place that you don’t want to leave. The characters are heartfelt, emotional, and the progression is rewarding, so being a part of this world is something you’ll want to do over and over.
